Sureserve Fire and Electrical, part of the Sureserve Group, are a specialist in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire safety and security systems. Delivering fire compliance services, which cover all the physical infrastructure and fire safety materials required for a building to respond to the outbreak of fire.

We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Apprentice to join our busy growing team based at our Burgess Hill office. As an Apprentice your role would be to support the team on a day to day basis with a range of administration tasks.

While working you will also be studying towards your Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. Apprentices will be trained on the job as well as being given periodic study leave to achieve this qualification. You will also be supported by a mentor within our Business Support Team. This knowledge can be used in a variety of different roles throughout your career as your progress into your dream job role.

*General Duties/ Key Responsibilities: *

* Engaging with our operational teams providing support across departments
* Ensuring correct and timely closure of jobs completed within our systems
* Ensuring all costs have been charged for a job
* Data inputting into our operational systems
* Gathering data/valuations to support the invoice
* Day to day administrative tasks

*Skills & Qualities: *

* Positive attitude with a passion to learn
* Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to interact with all levels of seniority
* Ability to take the initiative on assigned tasks
* An investigative mind and strong problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to demonstrate ability to work within a team
* Ability to work with IT systems and to problem solve using technology. Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint is desirable but not essential

*To be eligible to apply you must be: *

* 16 or over
* Living in England
* Not in full-time education
* Able to demonstrate Grade A\*-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English GCSE
