Responsibilities
* Assist and process monthly payroll including statutory month and year end returns, including P60s and P11Ds.
* You will collate and process the Auto-Enrolment pension payments.
* Be the first point of contact for employees or line managers responding to their payroll queries and escalate accordingly to the Payroll Manager.
* Assisting in the administration of benefits.
* Assist with reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirements.
* Assist with entering variable overtime and expense payments.
* Escalate to line managers where missing payroll information is required.
* Any other payroll duties as required by the business.
* Support the wider HR team on HR projects where there is a payroll implication

As a member of the payroll team, you will support the payroll department, will work closely with and report directly into the Payroll Manager.

Education/Qualifications
* Good standard of formal education (A level preferred)
* Knowledge of SAGE 50 Payroll (preferred)
* Good accounting knowledge
* Strong MS Outlook, Excel and Word skills are essential
* Flexibility with hours and peak periods of work is essential
* Flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability to multi-task
* Meticulous and accurate
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communicator and personable and customer service orientated
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritise
