What you will be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for all operational activities within the South-Central area, part of the waste treatment southern region. The Operations Manager will be expected to meet performance targets in terms of environmental protection, renewable energy generation and environmental permit compliance. Performance is gauged not only in terms of levels of renewable generation and effluent compliance but also the health and safety of all who work on site. You will be expected to engage internal stakeholders to influence the future of the site and with external stakeholders to help form a positive perception of the site and the team's performance.

We're looking for you to:
  • Have a proven track record of driving change and engaging a team.
  • Have experience managing large sewage treatment works or similar large-scale processes and delivering to budgetary and health & safety targets.
  • Possess previous knowledge of wastewater processes which is desirable as is stakeholder management skills.
  • Be resilient and have strong communication, influencing and problem-solving
