Payroll Administrator

Your new company

Working as part of the Human Resources team, be responsible for the smooth, accurate and efficient processing of the payrolls for the organisation including the processing of Pension Schemes and other benefit packages and the reporting and process of taxable elements.
Support the development of the Human Resources Information System and provide timely data analysis reporting to the business including regular and ad-hoc reporting.

Your new role

1) Using own initiative but under the direction of your line manager, be primarily responsible for the accurate and timely payment of all employees of both organisations, including salaried and hourly paid, incorporating appropriate allowances, including the processing of all company and statutory sickness and family payments.

2) Ensure monthly and end of year procedures are undertaken including payments of PAYE and National Insurance, reconciliation of HMRC form P35 to PAYE accounts and produce HMRC forms, P60s and required electronic records and returns required by pensions agencies and manage any HMRC and DWP queries.

3) Administer the pension schemes and other employee reward and benefits, including ensuring the correct reporting of taxable elements to staff and the HMRC.

4) In conjunction with the Human Resources Advisers, process the transactional documents into the Human Resources Information System including overtime and casual hours.

5) Reconcile payroll and nominal ledger each month and prepare the payroll section of the annual audit folder.

What you'll need to succeed

* Managing a payroll including salaried and variably paid staff.
* Managing Staff Reward and Benefits schemes and packages including pensions, life assurance, Apprenticeship Levy, Child Care and Private Medical Cover.
* Managing the External Payroll Bureau Service Level Agreement.
* Statistical analysis of Human Resources data
* Use of Human Resources systems in a payroll context.
* Use of Accounting Software in a payroll context.
* Track record of developing and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
* Proven experience of working to structured procedures and policies
* Willingness to deliver and to be involved in projects to impact the wonder organisation community
