Senior Care Assistant (Nights, Various hours)
Barford Court - "Rated Good by CQC", 95% of services are either Outstanding or Good

• One off Joining Bonus paid in your first payroll of £250 (full terms and conditions available on request)
· £10.76 per hour (reviewed annually), plus a Premium shift payment for overtime worked, pension, hospital plan, emergency dental cover, confidential external counselling services, discounts at retail outlets and days out, and reduced gym membership

· 28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of allowance in lieu of bank holidays) plus additional days up to a max of 5 in line with length of service.

REPORTS TO

Shift Leader / Registered Nurse

OVERVIEW

As a Senior Care Assistant within RMBI Care Company you will play a vital role in ensuring that all our residents needs have been met and that they are provided with person-centred personal care that enables them to have a perfect day. You will also be involved in supporting with external multi-disciplinary team visits and setting an excellent example for our Care Assistant's, providing additional support, mentoring and training as required.

You will assist our residents, whilst respecting their dignity and promoting independence, with a wide range of daily activities from bathing, dressing, support with eating and taking medication through to singing, gardening, day trips, and celebrating special events. Your role is to ensure that all our residents can continue to live the lives they love and are encouraged to maintain the activities they have always enjoyed.

Senior Care Assistant's also ensure that Care Plans for new residents are set up and then kept up to date using our electronic care planning system and therefore you will need to be comfortable using technology and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

The ideal candidate will be looking to develop a career within Health and Social Care and will already have at least an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care. You will already have previous experience within the Care sector and will be looking to further your own personal development whilst acting as a role model for others.
