Deputy Manager Job, 6 Bed Children's Home, Full Time, Burgess Hill Area

The company aims to work therapeutically with these children to enable them to be a more integrated part of the community. These homes act as the stepping-stone for the children to move on to family-based placements so it's extremely important that these children receive specialised professional support in learning how to cope with the pressures and demands of day-to-day living. The home you will be working in contains 6 children ages between 12-18 years old.

Your new role
Your main responsibility as a deputy would be to work collaboratively with the Homes Registered Manager to ensure that the Home is run and operated safely and in compliance with requirements of legislation and regulation and that the Children living in the Home are cared for and educated to the highest standards and that they make progress and thrive. You will also be expected to appropriately liaise and interact with all colleagues across the organisation and wider external networks to ensure effective communication & promote positive and harmonious working relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in a children's residential or SEN setting, you must have previous experience in a leadership position. You will also have level 5 in leadership and management (or equivalent).
