Lead Support Worker Job - Adult with Autism - Peacehaven

The type of support this company offers ranges from a few hours outreach in a client's own home to intensive support for individuals with challenging behaviours.

Your new role
This specific role is centred around supporting one male individual in his 30's who is autistic and deaf in their own home. You will be working as part of a team to provide support. The gentlemen is out-going, loves to do trips out and has a great sense of humour. He does communicate via British Sign Language (BSL). The specific shifts you'll be expected to work are as followed: 7:45am - 3pm, 2:45pm - 10pm and 9:45pm - 8am (waking night), you will also have the opportunity to earn an extra \u00A320 a night for being on call.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be trained in communicating via BSL (if not you will receive training), you will have previous experience working with adults with autism. You must also be able to commit to the shift patterns above.
