Intervention Teachers Required in September for 'catch up' across schools in Coventry and North Warwickshire

Your new school

Hays Education are working closely with Schools across Coventry and North Warwickshire on their return to work plan. This has been branded across the media as the 'catch up plan' and with this in mind Hays needs to be ready with a team of teachers to work closely with these schools to apply intervention teaching.

Your new role

Your new role will be to work either in one school or a collection of schools within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and support the team of teachers in teaching intervention work to try and help children progress and close the gap in their learning. This will mainly be focused on Maths and English as well as phonics preparation and Year 2 and year 6 SAT's booster work.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed within this role you must be a confident Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 Teacher that has strong teaching knowledge of the curriculum and recent experience in teaching either Phonics or Year 2\/6 SAT's. As this will be a unsettling time for children you should be a compassionate Teacher that has empathy and a natural passion for Teaching.
