Job Advert - Policy Research Manager

About Reall

Reall is an innovator and investor in climate-smart affordable housing for people living on low incomes in urban Africa and Asia.

Reall's purpose is to improve the lives of 100M people in urban Africa and Asia by 2030 through affordable housing. We're doing this because homes aren't just a fundamental human right; they unleash unimaginable human potential to shape a future of gender parity, climate resilience, clean air, renewable energy, and socio-economic justice.

The Role

We are looking for a Policy Research Manager to lead Reall's research

and impact targets, and its shaping and transforming global affordable housing agendas. This role will lead and manage research, which drives our communication and shapes partnerships. We want this role to help Reall in achieving tangible change, including through the influencing of external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have first-hand, or considerable research, experience related to urban development and/or housing in the global South. You will be a confident communicator, enjoy influencing and shifting mindsets, and have a strong research and writing skillset matched with an ability to work across key areas related to

Reall's mission, namely climate-smart and affordable housing, understanding and evidencing the needs of the bottom 40 per cent, and exploring innovative technologies and applications. Finally, you will enjoy working across diverse teams in a matrix environment.

Full details are in the job description and person specification, which are available by clicking through to apply for this role. Please note that you must have the right to live and work in the UK to be eligible to apply for this role.
