Job description

Expediting Quality Engineer

I'm currently recruiting for an Expediting Quality Engineer on a permanent basis located in Wolverhampton .

You will be responsible for day to day Expediting of Projects/Suppliers deliverable assigned to your portfolio. You are required to collaborate with ANL operational teams, respective Supplier Quality Managers and Clients (Stakeholders) to ensure the efficient delivery of the Project Procurement Plan.

Responsible for:

New supplier approval & additions to the ANL approved supplier database
Implement quality requirements with supply chain
Expedite quality related documents
Management of witness/hold points within QPs. SQPs/ITPs
Investigation & closure of supplier NCR's
Supplier Performance and Expediting of DeliverablesEssential:

Minimum 5 years background experience in Quality Engineering
Experience of a Graded Approach to Quality and Procurement
Familiarity Fabrication & Manufacturing Processes
Working to Quality Control Plans and stages therein to ensure quality delivery
Expediting of product & documentation in supply chain from PO to verification and final delivery
Supplier at source verification of product/records
Desirable

Working knowledge of Tier 1 and 2 Customers their Quality requirements
Competent in the use MS Office products
Technical Report writing and presentation skills
Basic Project management skills; forecasting, scheduling and cost control
