Role: Maintenance Technician (Facilities)

Salary: Up to £32,000

Location: Coventry

An opportunity has come to market for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Estates Maintenance Team at the company's headquarters in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an industry leading technology hub, who have paved the way for Research and Development for UK manufacturing and successfully bridge the gap between academia and the industry.

Key skills they are looking for:

Primarily to assist the team in the upkeep of assets and buildings throughout the campus.
To carry out minor projects/install works as scoped by the Team management and through the helpdesk.
To carry out M&E maintenance/inspections across the campus.
To work as part of a team to ensure all jobs are completed in given timescales.
Required to use expert knowledge to explain faults/impact and job updates to internal clients, supervisor and the helpdesk as well as using a web-based portal for updating reactive and PPM jobs.
The ability to use expert knowledge/data to remedy faults or know when an asset need replacing.
Excellent IT skills, able to use word, excel and outlook to send/receive emails, update calendars to manage workload and keep track of costs or inspections.

Qualifications:

Must have both Electrical and Mechanical Qualifications
