Brief Outline
We are currently looking for an Estimator to join a well-established commercial fit out and shopfitting contractor working on medium to large sized contracts across the UK.
About our Client
The company have been operating for over 20 years. They turnover circa £20mill and have grown steadily over the last few years. They have a wide and varied client base across varied sectors including; in the retail, leisure, hospitality and office commercial spaces. They have a long pipeline of work for the coming year ahead already.
The business has a young, dynamic and energetic management team with a strong business plan in place.
About the Role
We are looking for an Estimator with experience predominantly in shop fit out works.
Duties and responsibilities will include;
* Ensuring that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement
* Work within established commercial and operations team in preparation of competitive tender offers
* Undertake site visits to establish and verify asset information provided as part of the tender documentation
* Undertake a full analysis of tender returns received during the tender process
* Attend start-up pre-price and price meetings
About the Candidate
* Proven record in shopfitting contracts
* Wider knowledge of the fit-out and construction industry
* Used to site visits and client facing activity
* Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication skills in English
* Computer literacy in MS Office, Project
