Job description

Brief Overview of the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right enthusiastic individual to learn to operate all nickel and chrome electroplating lines, vibratory polishing, solvent cleaning machine, and effluent treatment plant. To achieve daily targets as set by production planning and always operating within Health & Safety guidelines.

Duties:

To be directly responsible to shop floor supervisor

To load and unload plating line including joining of chains

To load and unload spin driers after rinsing process

To operate in line with all H&S legislation including COSHH

To check chain to agreed specifications

Desired Qualifications:

GCSE Maths & English 4/C or equivalent.

Working Week:

Monday-Friday 7am-15.30pm (half and hour unpaid lunch)

Total hours - 40

£4.30 per hour = weekly wage £172.00

Training to be given:

Engineering Operative L2
