Workshop Technician/Forklift Driver
Location - Wednesbury, Midlands
Contract role - immediate start
Rate - £11.00 - £11.50 per hour (Dayshift)

Our client, a successful automotive testing business is urgently sourcing a Workshop Technician/ Forklift Driver for minimum 2 months+ contract role.

Skills required:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift truck license required
Experience of operating simple workshop machinery is preferred but not essentiall
Good general education
Good practical and analytical skills
An inquisitive approach to product engineering and testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
The ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and coordinate
Excellent attention to detail

Duties:

Counterbalance Forklift driving of materials
Preparing test samples onto jigs and fixtures
Preparation and testing of materials and components
Maintaining accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures
Adhering to regulations and laboratory policies regarding health, safety and quality.
Maintaining clean and hygienic working environment
Ensuring Health & Safety is enforced in working areas
