Modern Slavery Support Worker - Temp to Perm - from \u00A320,849 - West Midlands - Multiple Opportunities

Your new company
A charity responsible for supporting vulnerable woman & children groups within Birmingham & the surrounding areas. The charity are looking to expand their team due to the uprising demands of their modern slavery team. Their intention is to promote a society where women & children can feel safe and supported.

Your new role
Your role as a Modern Slavery Support Worker will be as follows:

* Receiving Referrals of victims of international human trafficking and supporting them in refuge accommodation.
* Support clients to enable them to make positive choices about their future and reduce the risk from issues such as substance misuse, mental health, re-trafficking & prostitution.
* Act as an advocate and independent voice for victims in service empowering them to address various challenges & reduce risk.
* Building and maintaining partnership with partners in the criminal justice system, health, employment, education and other relevant areas of work within agreed protocols.
* To promote and raise awareness of all services the charity has to offer.

To ensure that all practice is delivered within appropriate legal frameworks including safeguarding adults & children's

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate in being offered a position as a Modern Slavery Support Worker, you will have prior experience of working within a team that has previously supported vulnerable client groups in relation to modern day slavery\/trafficking. Along with this you will be required to have extensive knowledge of the modern slavery legislation and fully understand how to put this into best practice.

Due to the client group this role also requires female only applicants.
