The role

You'll be supporting all planning and analysis activities, ad-hoc business modelling and stress testing.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the coordination and consolidation of presentation materials for Executive and Board meetings.

  • Providing insightful analysis through variance analysis, understanding key drivers, risks, opportunities and trends behind the financials.

  • Supporting the development, automation, streamline, implementation of key systems.

  • Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Your qualifications & experience

  • Part or newly qualified accountant

  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in using Excel

  • Highly numerate with experience in a financial/analytical discipline

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, specifically the ability to prioritise and process numerous tasks simultaneously and deliver at pace to meet tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent investigative, numerical and communication skills.

  • Ability to use own initiative, whilst also being a valuable team player.

  • Personal drive and resilience to deal with work volumes efficiently during peak reporting periods.

  • A continuous improvement mind-set and a desire for personal development.

It would be great if you had knowledge of Adaptive Planning, Workday and Power BI, but this isn't essential as we will provide training and support as required.
