Associate Analyst (Technology Strategy) - Leeds or Dublin base - Hybrid approach to WFH and office based working
This role sits within the Group Technology Strategy & Insight (S&I) team and is a great opportunity for someone to work across all disciplines of the team. The successful candidate will be exposed to shaping the strategy for how we leverage future technology capabilities to power business performance, how we provide thought leadership across the Group on emerging technologies and how we generate insight to enable our technologists across the group increase their contribution and impact.
The role involves leading the value capture process on behalf of the team, co-ordinating activities across the team, ensuring the material produced by the team is of the highest presentation standard, centralising the outputs from the team and tracking progress against plans and measures.
It is a great opportunity for a structured, organized and ambitious analyst to contribute to and get exposure to the Group Tech Strategy team and the key stakeholders we engage with across the brands and divisions.
This role will work closely with the Director of Strategy & Insight to support tracking, communicating and reporting on the value proposition of the team and defining the scope of support engagements across the group.
Accountabilities:
Manage the S&I team value capture process - what value/impact S&I team are delivering across all engagements and develop plans to incorporate feedback back into all team members to factor into overall frameworks, approaches, OKR's & ways of working across the team.
Centralise and maintain all S&I frameworks, templates and suite of toolkits. Create repository of decks / templates and ensure all S&I outputs have a standard quality look and feel that represents the S&I brand
Manage and track S&I OKR's and plans to support all reporting / tracking processes across the team and ensure all OKR's are live, visible and up to date across the team
Shape a planning methodology for S&I and support all team members to adopt approach consistently across the team. This involves define, develop, document and communicate plans of work for each outcome/OKR
Define, create and manage a central repository for all strategic planning and insight methodologies the S&I team can leverage
Research and evaluate innovative methodologies, tools and approaches the S&I team can consider to incorporate into engagements to drive team OKR's
Schedule and prepare all team meetings and material and support the S&I Director to manage and prepare team communications
Support the S&I Director to confirming the scope and contract for key engagements for the team
Provide and fulfil any analytical support as the S&I team requires

Experience:
1+ years working across a number of the following disciplines in a Technology, Product of Strategy Function- research, strategy definition, business analysis, insight, planning, execution - ideally in a leading digital organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Having an interest or background in graphic design would also be an advantage.
Experience in tracking, managing, reporting and presenting on KPI's would be an advantage
Highly organized and able to work on own initiative.
Culturally aware and able to build and maintain relationships with broad range of internal and external stakeholders
Experienced presenting to and influencing stakeholders across levels and functions
Demonstrated ability to be a great team member, willing to learn and wanting to progress their career
An understanding of the gambling sector would be an advantage
Display integrity, low-ego and tenacity to get to outcomes
