This is a field-based role supporting the Durham / Sheffield and National Contracts

You will be joining an enthusiastic team of dietitians to ensure the delivery of comprehensive nutrition and dietetic services. The position provides an excellent opportunity for you to work in industry where you can hone your nutrition and dietetic expertise in a commercial environment. Job description

Your key responsibilities as the Dietitian will consist of:

- Working with and supporting the Dietitian for Education in providing the Taylor Shaw business and wider Nutrition & Dietetic team with expert nutrition advice and the development of nutrition related publications and collateral

- Working with and supporting the Dietitian for Education in the analysis of school menus to ensure they meet current school food standards

- Supporting the Dietitian for Healthcare in the analysis and categorisation of menus to meet with specific standards as required by the business

- With guidance from the Company Dietitians, to develop and deliver nutrition education and support at schools and care homes where required

- Working with and supporting the Dietitian for Education in liaison with School Food services and Group Managers, to provide medical diets to children with supporting medical evidence

Skills & Experience

The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Dietitian include:

Key skills:

- HCPC Registered Dietitian with at least 3 years' experience

- Experience working with food allergy and special medical diets

- Experience in contract catering or the food industry is desirable

- Familiarity with one or more nutritional analysis programmes

- Experience of working within the Food Service Education sector is an advantage

- Experience of menu development that is appropriate for school age children

- Experience and knowledge of EU and UK food labelling legislation

- Member of British Dietetic Association

- Full UK driving licence

And finally, it's important to be:

- A highly driven individual with the ability to work well in a team and on own initiative

- Able to deliver support to operations teams with site visits, presentations, training and events

- Have a passion for food and nutrition and good product knowledge of food and ingredients

- Able to quickly solve problems, and have excellent written and oral communication skills

- Able to prioritise a wide range of tasks, be flexible and work to tight deadlines

- Happy to travel to various locations regularly

- Confident with the ability to work well with colleagues and clients at all levels

As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £35,000, plus a company car

This role also comes with a company pension scheme, 33 days holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays). You can also purchase up to 5 additional days annual leave
