Job description

Working as the right hand finance person to an entrepreneurial MD and overseeing the finances for a group of companies with a turnover of around £6m. The business is on Xero and there is the opportunity to work remotely with occasional contact with the Leeds office.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, budget and forecast preparation.

Responsibilities include;

Preparation of financial reporting and forecasts on a quarterly basis for external parties
Preparation and timely publishing of internal monthly management accounts
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Assisting auditors with Year End Accounts preparation
Preparation of Financial Accounts and Tax for other non-group entities
Manage all accounting operations including purchase ledger

We are looking for a qualified or suitably qualified by experience accountant who has experience in controlling the finances of an SME either in industry or in professional practice.
