Job description

I am supporting a top 100 firm of accountants looking to expand their payroll team, with offices based in the centre of Leeds. You will support the senior payrollers in the processing of client payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.

You will have experience in payroll, in either a dedicated payroll position or as part of your broader role with an interest in broadening your skillset and in time managing your own portfolio of payroll clients.

Sage payroll experience would be highly desirable.

Main duties of the role:

Collating payroll information for different employers and dealing with any queries. Payrolls may be weekly, two weekly, monthly or annually.
Calculating and input of payroll information to meet tight deadlines
Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs
Calculating SSP, SMP and any other statutory payments
Liaising with managers and team members with payroll enquires and reporting
Adding new starters and recording leavers with appropriate forms
Dealing with pension deductions and payments in line with the pension scheme
Recording and monitory holidays and keeping diaries up to date

Salary: £19,000 - £22,000 + Support for the CIPP

You will be offered a flexible working split, with 3 days office and 2 days home working.
