RESOURCE MANAGER £30-34k
BARNSLEY AREA
Leading multi-disciplinary provider of quality inspection and consultancy services in the construction sector are currently looking for a Resource Manager to join their expanding team.
Working closely with the BID Team, you will be responsible for staffing resources to projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Locate, Screen and Induct Clerk of Works and Surveyors
* Allocate Clerk of Works to Projects
* Take calls from CoW's and Surveyors, address any concerns
* Arrange defect inspections
* Line manage Resource Assistant
* Ensure sites are resourced with the right person at the right time
* Understand each CoW's and Surveyors strengths and weaknesses and match to clients needs
* Escalate key issues and any poor performance
* Update the Recruitment Plan in line with the Business Plan and workload
* Identify the need for new Clerks in advance of changes in the workload and assisting
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
* Understanding of project requirements
* Proven experience as a Resource Manager
* Working to tight deadlines
* Strong team management and leadership
* Organisational and project management skills, with the ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently
* Confident decision making
* Ability to process data quickly and effectively
* Keen eye for accuracy and detail.
