Role overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior M&E Buyer supporting our Facilities Services Electric Infrastructure Facilities Services Business unit from our Leeds Office
The Senior Buyer will manage procurement activities within the NG Bailey Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Team providing procurement expertise and supporting the Operational Team, formulating, implementing, and managing the procurement route to market, working closely with other parts of the business (particularly Business Development and Commercial) to meet organizational goals, having cognizance of group procurement strategy. This role will sit within the FIS procurement team, main responsibility EV
Responsibilities

You will:

Tender Support - Support Contract managers with up to date procurement data, expertise and advice. To run tenders from support to total management
Procurement - Have a hands on approach and act as procurement lead on projects, ensure a procurement strategy is produced and adhered to on every tender and live projects, procurement schedules are produced and kept up to date and carry out or delegate tasks as a member of the project team. These will vary between projects, but will typically include procurement plans, negotiations, establishment and running of e-auctions, volume aggregation/package bundling. The role will include an element of management and mentoring of junior team members.
Supplier Management - Supplier management/performance including recording, providing feedback, implementing improvement plans and monitor.
Sourcing - Working with Sourcing Managers to contribute to and support source plans.
Savings - Maintain savings on a monthly basis in accordance with the business processes.
Accurate Data & Reports - Produce monthly reports for procurement dashboard, record and monitor action/improvement plans to enhance results.

Requirements
You will have:

Level 4/5 of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) - Desirable
Procurement experience, both high volume and high value. Covering materials and sub-contract
Experience of a role in an Electrical & FM environment (M&E Services) involving significant exposure to a wide range of supply-related activities, hands on procurement experience of sub-contract and material packages.
Confident use of all negotiating techniques and procurement approaches.
Previous role working in a building services construction environment
Extensive experience in an operational buying role
