We are a care setting for the elderly with sites across West & North Yorkshire.

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Night Care Assistant based at our Fern House site in Bingley.

Hours of work are 36 per week, 3 shifts over 7 days from 7.00pm to 7.30am

With a salary of £11.20 per hour

Working as a Senior Night Care Assistant you will be part of the Care Team delivering a professional and efficient service for our residents.

The ideal candidate will be required:

To have NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in health & social care or be working towards this

To supervise and participate in the delivery of care to the residents.

To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care documentation ensuring a person centred approach.
To provide effective leadership for care staff through supervision, support and mentoring in all aspects of care.
To be responsible for the safe administration of medication
To work effectively with others to ensure that resident's needs are met
To promote and encourage independence at all times to enable residents to achieve their own personal goals and objectives.
To provide support and security to residents at all times.
To Promote and uphold Abbeyfield's values.

All roles are subject to 3-month probation period, DBS clearance, satisfactory references and all staff must be double vaccinated against Covid-19: proof of this will be required via the NHS app.
