*Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 - Dependant on experience*

*Hours: Office Hours Flexible (Mon to Friday)*

Our client are a highly successful Logistics and Transportation provider with outstanding infrastructure consisting of 4 locations, including the ability to offer very large-scale warehousing solutions. They provide a number of high-end solutions to their industry such as Contract Logistics. Due to their continued growth and success, they require a an experienced Contract Manager who can maintain a specific large contract with vast customer focus.

*Role & Responsibilities: *

* Full Remit for Specified Contract Distribution operation throughout the supply chain for both Warehousing and Distribution (Transport) activity.
* Be focal point to lead contract and act as the key contact for the client
* Deliver all KPI's and SLAs on a consistent basis to satisfaction of customer and the business
* Maintain 99.5% stock integrity in the warehouse through co-ordination of PI scheduling.
* Ensure all SOPs & KPI's are met/adhered to providing detailed root cause analysis and solutions for any deviations
* Produce Internal & Customer KPI reports - to be detailed weekly and reviewed monthly with Customer in KPI review.
* Lead Customer meetings & conference calls
* Produce & distribute end of day reports capturing workload and performance
* Produce & distribute weekly workload and performance reports for both Warehousing and Distribution (Transport) activity
* Report back to the customer on any stock queries within agreed timelines.
* Ensure that the operation is representative of the Company brand, mission statement and values
* Execute and deliver strategic cost-saving initiatives
* Deal with escalated operational issues by implementing high quality, mistake-proof improvements
* Make sure that SOP's in place provide robust systems and process
* Ensure contract is planned & controlled in a pro-active, constructive, and progressive manner
* Maintain a high level of H&S standards for the Customer Contract, liaising with the H&S Manager to ensure all requirements are met.
* Attend briefs with other Managers, a forum for reporting performance setting the agenda for the day and raising points relevant to the audience, then leading the daily team meetings and ensuring presence where needed of contract sponsors.
* Take on other roles and tasks within the job remit as the Contract develops and make contributions as required to the site management team.
* Manage staff rotas where applicable and manage staff in line with absence management policies - up to and incl. dismissal.
* Ensure contract is Managed in line with Open book costs and margins - with clear and concise communications for any deviations

*Skills & Experience: *

* 3+ years experience within (Transportation/Distribution Account Management)
* Team Management / resources - KPI's
