CONTRACTOR ESCORT \/ PRISON SECURITY ESCORT - HMYOI WETHERBY - TEMP- \u00A39.99 per hour

Your new company
The project team at HMYOI Wetherby require a number of Contractor Escorts\/Prison Security Escorts to join their team on an ongoing basis. Wetherby is a young offender institution (YOI) in Yorkshire for boys and young men aged 15 to 18.

Your new role
You will be working as a Contractor Escort \/Prison Security Escort to support the project team, you will be responsible for escorting external contractors and visitors around the prison safely, completing tool and ID checks, watching over the workers to ensure they are completing work safely, escorting them to the staff mess at break times, escorting them back to the main gate at the end of the day and chinking their tools back out again
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm (39 hours p\/w)

What you'll need to succeed
You do not require any previous experience or qualifications for this role, you just need to be security conscious, able to challenge potential compromises and risk, and be reliable. If you have previous security experience it is an advantage but not essential
You must be able to pass a full prison clearance and enhanced DBS, have photo ID in the form of a valid Passport or driving licence plus a full birth certificate, proof of address and proof of NI number.
You must also be able to provide 2 recent employment references.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid weekly, with a premium rate of \u00A39.99 per hour including holiday pay. You will receive all relevant training for this role, and will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position if suitable.
