Data \/ Performance Analyst

Working within public-sector, you will help develop, advise, and provide a data analysis, interpretation, reporting and business intelligence capability that provides evidence to support the delivery of the organisations objectives and its partners. To work with Trust colleagues internally and partners for other Local Authorities in South Yorkshire and other external partners of the business to ensure the greatest possible value is extracted from our management information and data resources to strengthen decision making, strategic planning, risk management and operational management.

You'll support the head of department in the management of the businesses planning process through development, agreement, implementation and review of key business\/delivery plans and policies whilst supporting the development, implementation and embedding of a performance management framework and associated performance culture as well as operating and supporting a performance information system across partnerships.

Collecting, analysing and interpretating data and produce high quality succinct reports that can be used to inform decision-making and support the achievement of the businesses priorities and analysing the impact of change initiatives either external due to policy or statutory changes or internal due to development projects that change practice to advise and provide options for improved decision making and support of the achievement of the businesses priorities is what you'll be getting up to on a daily basis and not forgetting to contributing to the development of new approaches and initiatives in perusing service improvement through the provision of key information that informs service reviews, improvement initiatives and decisions to improve quality and\/or value for money.

Most importantly you'll be proficient in SQL, Python, MS Report Builder and Power BI as they are all key applications that you would use so experience is necessary there, not forgetting Excel too.
