Senior Project and Programme Manager
We are looking for a Senior Project and Programme Manager to leads on the strategy implementation and business transformation for a charity that enables people and communities to improve their health, prospects, and green spaces.
You will be working for a conservation charity working with community volunteers to deliver practical solutions to the real life challenges they face, their activities have a lasting impact on people's health, prospects and outdoor spaces.
Position: Senior Project and Programme Manager
Location: Doncaster, with flexible working
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week

About the Role:
The Senior Project and Programme Manager is a key new senior role in the Central Services Team based in Doncaster. Reporting to the Finance Director and Leadership Team, the role will operationalise the implementation of the charity's 2025 strategy 'For people and green spaces: a thriving network for everyone' and related business transformation, including hands-on delivery to related projects and work streams.
The role will also co-ordinate the delivery of continuous business improvement and business integration across the organisation.
About You:
As Senior Project and Programme Manager you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a breadth of skills and expertise in project management and continuous business improvement.
You will need to bring with you the following skills and experience:
- Practically experienced as a Programme Manager in a charity organisation
- Experience of leading strategy implementation/business transformation programmes
- Experience of working with matrix business teams to deliver business change goals.
- Project Management office professional with knowledge of MS Project
- An agile/lean/six sigma qualified practitioner
