As a part-time Support Worker you will experience the difference, a new skill or new found independence can make to someone's life.Supporting people with autism and complex needs with their daily routines and helping them access new experiences are the little things that you can do to make a difference. It involves working as a team to maintain a happy, caring and safe environment for the people who use our services at Easingwold.We could offer you flexible shift patterns which may be ideal if you're a parent returning to work or a university student looking to fit work in around your term times.Also don't worry if you don't drive or have your own transport we can provide a free of charge pick up and drop off mini bus service from York City Centre to Copperclay MewsAbout YouYou don't need to have experience but it is essential that you share our values. As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us. We will support you through your Level 2 qualification so you become a fully qualified Support Worker.It is now a legal requirement for anybody working in a CQC regulated care home in England regardless of role to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
