Technical Support Engineer

Gi Group Scarborough are delighted to be partnering with a prestigious Manufacturing business based in the Scarborough area to enlarge their Power Generator Control division with an experienced Technical Support Engineer - Electronic.

The Role of the Technical Support Engineer:
To provide technical support and product development guidance to both their internal teams and customers around the World, by email, phone and travelling both nationally and internationally when required.

Key Responsibilities & Main Duties of the Technical Support Engineer will include:
* Providing technical support on the full range of products to external customers
* Training customers at their site and troubleshooting company product installation on site
* Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams
* Maintaining reports and preparation of technical documents
* Deliver presentations and training sessions on technical products
* Flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally when required

Skills and Qualifications of the successful Technical Support Engineer:
* Engineering background, ideally with electric/electronic engineering qualifications or the equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant experience from the generator industry
* Excellent IT skills and good overall engineering knowledge
* Ability to work at a high level of concentration and commitment
* Strong communicator
