* About the Team: *
Much of the work that the DMPK Department performs is designed to evaluate new, therapeutically active pharmaceuticals and to aid the regulatory process for evaluating the safety to humans and the environment of new and existing chemicals such as agrochemicals, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, veterinary medicines or food additives. The data that you will be generating will help in the understanding of the disposition of the test compound in terms of its absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME). What makes DMPK sciences different from Toxicology is that the group's main focus is to determine what the body does to a pharmaceutical agent and how that can impact safety and efficacy.
*Internship Assignment Summary:*
* Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your business acumen and professional presence
* Work with Study Coordinators (SCs) to prepare, monitor, maintain, and understand the execution of all Metabolism study types
* Learn to read and understand study protocols, sample analysis outlines, amendments, study schedules, regulatory requirements, and SOPs as they pertain to client deliverables (i.e. shipping, archival, data retrieval, and compilation etc.)
* Prepare and proof required documents in a timely, efficient, and error-free manner
* Learn and successfully perform applicable tasks around table and figure preparation, including proficiency with applicable data collection systems and preparation software
* Develop a practical understanding of laboratory skills as they pertain to Metabolism studies
Education/Qualifications:
* Working towards bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
* Has experience delivering a task that has been set on time and to a high standard
* Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
* Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
Experience:
* Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
* Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues

* Ability to utilise word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and specialised software on personal computers
* Excellent attention to detail
