Electrician - Buildings Maintenance

On call pay and overtime available

Immediate opportunity for an Electrician. The role would suit someone looking for a day's / site based maintenance role working pleasant, non-stressful environment for a company who offer great benefits. Salary will raise to £31534 in the future.

As the Electrician you will undertake a range of duties including;

·Attending breakdowns and undertaking planned and preventative maintenance

·Working with plant and associated equipment, heating, ventilation and boiler controls, alarm systems,

·Assisting in the installation of new plant/equipment, HVAC installation and maintenance work

·Building control and automation,

·Hot and Cold water systems, security access control.

·Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding plant or equipment failures and request the supply of goods and or services as necessary.

·Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections and commissioning tests

·Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary.

·Monitor and test chemical levels adjust as required reserves within boiler feed water systems.

·Follow planned maintenance schedules.

·Generator engines, sterilisers, washer disinfectors, piped medical gas systems, refrigeration fault finding.

·Lifts, drainage and sewage systems.

We seek Electricians with:

Experience working in manufacturing, Industrial, facilities, buildings maintenance or commercial based electrical role.

A can do attitude and a proven background and a stable career within engineering.

A recognised and registered CITB or EITB apprenticeship and minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.

The company offer fixed daytime hours and a great working environment with friendly staff and opportunities for progression. 27 days holiday + bank and a final salary pension. Overtime is paid at 1.5 x's and £20 on call standby rate.

37 hours per week working a rotating shift pattern 7am to 3pm/ 8am to 4pm/ 12pm to 8pm 5 days a week and a rotating on-call rota for which extra payment is given for the on call covered.

Overtime paid over 37.5 hours at 1.5x's or time given in lieu

6% pension contribution from employer

27 days holidays raising to 33 days
