They deliver projects in a range of sectors including, government, commercial, industrial and historical restoration. The award of Construction News' Contractor of the Year in 2017 is a testament to the quality of their projects, client satisfaction, and approach to the communities in which we work.The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services.With a focus on adding value, the role of business administrator contributes to the efficiency of our organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.Responsibilities:Maintaining the weekly tracking reports for a number of projects using the client's softwareDelivering general administrative assistance across the teamManaging the mailbox, taking relevant actions where appropriateDealing with routine enquiries both by phone and emailDiary management for the team, including coordinating team meetings when requiredMaintaining information on our systems and databasesBooking travel when requiredGeneral administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of a busy office environment.Requirements and prospectsQualifications Required5 GCSE's Grades 4 - 9 (A* - C) including Maths and English (A-levels or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential)Skills RequiredA good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPointMinimum 6 months experience in an admin role - Business Admin Level 2 would be advantageousAble to work as part of a team or on own initiativeAble to prioritiseAttention to detailPersonal QualitiesProactiveOrganisedAble to multi-taskTraining to be ProvidedThe role of an Administrator is an important one, as they ensure the proper flow of office procedures and support various departments while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.As an apprentice, you will receive mentoring in the workplace and training from Remit Group to help develop your skills and achieve your Level 3On successful completion, you will receive:Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths (if required)Level 3 in Business AdministrationFuture ProspectsWates offer a wide range of career progression opportunities including further qualifications on completion of the apprenticeship.Other InformationCan you easily commute to the location?
