Kier Professional Services (KPS) are an exclusive in-house resource, providing readily available expert advice to support understanding and resolution of technical project issues in temporary and permanent works. KPS are able to quickly mobilise resources to support project delivery and consistently deliver a dependable design service for buildability and safety.
We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a Senior Engineer to deliver a broad range of complex Civil and Structural and related services in temporary works.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting Senior Engineer role, you'll produce Temporary and Permanent Works designs for buildings, highways, and infrastructure. You'll ensure Temporary Works designs are integrated with Permanent Works and provide engineering input to support tender schemes. As part of your role, you'll be tasked with providing technical assessment of 3rd party designs and provide both engineering expertise and technical advice to support engineering excellence and resolve technical project, construction, and design issues to ensure the highest of technical standards.

What do we need from you?

Ideally, you'll have previous Temporary Works experience and be an Incorporated or Chartered member of a relevant professional institution and have demonstrable post-graduate experience. You'll also have strong recent design experience working within multi-disciplinary projects.
