Digital Transformation Lead, Leeds, \u00A360,000, Financial Services
Hays Technology is recruiting for a Digital Transformation Lead for a well-known financial services organisation based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing and delivering a strategic Digital calendar of activities and projects underpinning the Group Digital Transformation and taking direct ownership of the end-to-end digital delivery oversight.
What you will be doing:
* Develop, deliver and implement detailed plans that support a wide range of Group Digital transformation projects and initiatives with multiple workstreams and competing demands; create and deliver clear, concise, high quality work outputs within desired timescales
* Lead and\/or participate in Group Digital transformation project working groups and ensure the needs of the regional businesses are aligned when scoping out desired outcomes and deliverables
* Act as the Digital subject matter expert on business initiatives that span across all areas of the Group
* Lead Digital Pivot Group meetings and discussions.
* Prepare and cascade status updates\/key information quickly and accurately to the relevant business colleagues through a variety of channels
* Contribute to the development and use of group project methodologies and tools within the Digital Pivot team; actively share knowledge and best practice and act as a visible role model
* Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement and \"lessons learned\"
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships with stakeholders across the Regional and Group teams; ensure they are engaged throughout the project\/ initiative lifecycle
* Provide strategic guidance and direction to the Group Leadership Team in relation to ongoing Digital change projects and initiatives; serve as the escalation point for issues and feedback
* Actively manage risks and issues and recommend ways to effectively overcome these
* Create and deliver presentations and workshops on key Digital transformation topics

* Experience of developing, delivering and implementing a wide variety of transformation project plans from conceptualisation through to benefits realisation
* Translating high-level concepts into actionable recommendations through to implementation
* Working across multiple matrixed teams
* Successfully leading business colleagues through a challenging period of change
* Working in first-in-class transformation teams within a regulated environment (Financial Services highly preferable)
* Strong programme management skills, ideally with a strong background in process improvement and implementing digital\/self-service solutions in regulated businesses
* Lean process and\/or Agile experience (desirable)
