Role description \/ purpose

To support the activities of the Marketing department in support of the company's vision to be the trusted brand for financial services in Europe and to be the first choice and household name for financial services by 2030. This will be delivered by achieving the mission of exceptional people, providing outstanding customer experiences today. Working with the Group PR Manager, participate and contribute to developing and executing PR and marketing strategies to meet agreed business objectives across the Group. This includes identifying media opportunities and creating content for social media channels to raise the company's profile in core markets.

Core Accountabilities

Deliver an outstanding customer experience

* To deliver and demonstrate fair customer outcomes to all while demonstrating core values of company
* Work to and adhere to corporate governance regimes, processes and work instructions; escalating and highlighting any variations to these to minimise risk
* Develop and implement a PR social media strategy in line with industry and digital trends to promote the Group brand, products, content, and thought leadership
* Manage the production of social media content assets using relevant tools, owning the design creation, scheduling and monitoring of social media posts to improve awareness and engagement
* Support the Group PR Manager in the creation and proof-reading of copy for corporate publications (e.g. Annual report), case studies and editorial content
* Produce monthly MI for all PR and social media activity across the Group
* Liaise with external agencies and partners

* Deliver consistent, analytic reporting against PR\/marketing KPIs and demonstrate impact of activity

* Upload content onto the Group website CMS platform
* Monitor external activity e.g. competitor activity, industry trends, key news events to feed into the Content and Social Media strategies
* Ensure that all marketing and PR activity is in line with our corporate brand

Qualifications\/Skills\/Experience

Qualifications Skill Requirements

* Experience in a PR\/marketing role, either agency or in-house
* Ability to work with and collaborate with colleagues
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Ability to plan own day and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines
* Ability to write clear, engaging and impactful communications with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to create graphics for digital and social media platforms
* Ability to assimilate lots of information and distil into meaningful copy

Knowledge Requirements

* Knowledge and experience of social media content creation tools
* Knowledge and ability to use CMS and media tracking systems and Google Analytics
* Knowledge and experience of monitoring engagement levels across social media platforms
* Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
