Working within a successful and dynamic B2B company, the Marketing Executive will help to plan, co-ordinate and execute marketing activity in conjunction with the Sales & Merchandising Team.The overall goal of the Marketing Executive is to help deliver product growth and awareness across all categories.Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, the candidate will be competent briefing in marketing materials into external design team, be heavily involved in launching and executing plans with the sales team, and proactively liaise with supplier contacts to ensure their plans and activities are being carried out.What will I be doing?The successful candidate will take ownership and activation of category and supplier marketing plans along with the VOW Wholesale social media coverage for managed categories, with the ability to research, write and create content for social mediaThis will include taking ownership of quarterly myMarketing content for categories managed, including liaising with suppliers, and checking artwork to ensure all tools are correct and uploaded for the start of the quarter, and creating a sales toolkit presentation to launch quarterly marketing plans and myMarketing content to the sales team and resellers.Other duties will include:Collation and issuing of the VOW Marketing News weekly email sent to all resellersWorking with suppliers to create end to end marketing campaigns where required, in collaboration with product managersAssisting the Product Marketing Manager to ensure that the Marketing budget is adhered to and all associated administration tasks completedAnalyse and produce reports on all marketing activity, in order to review the success of campaigns, both internally and for supplier useUtilise the reporting to make recommendations for future campaignsDriving the timelines and critical path for activity required in all product areasBrief design team with relevant copy and images to produce marketing materialsInternal communication to all sales teams on marketing activities and communicationsAny other tasks as required by the Marketing Manager and DirectorsWhat we are looking for?Experience of working in a similar role for 1 year, have a BA or BS Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent marketing qualificationGood organisational and planning skills and excellent attention to detailSelf-motivated and a team playerAbility to be flexible as the role dictatesKnowledge of all aspects of the Marketing mixExperience of using Microsoft Office toolsUnderstand, analyse and be able to communicate to the wider business in regard to digital marketing metricsA track record of delivering projects on time and multi-tasking several projects at once/prioritising workloadA track record of being able to work independently to deliver results and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlinesOutstanding execution, organisation and problem-solving skillsReadiness to operate in a highly collaborative, fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills - written and verbal.Ability to manage own workload competently whilst working from homeA track record in a marketing environment and good knowledge of Marketing techniquesCopywriting skills to write editorial copy and press releasesA creative flairPro-active and tenaciousNumerate and analyticalAware of current product marketing trendsVOW is one of the UK and Ireland's leading wholesalers of business products with its headquarters in Sheffield, England.
