Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Document Control Clerk, with experience in the oil & gas / petrochemical industry. The role is for 22.5 hours per week over a 3-day working week.

The role is based on-site in Teesside for a major international client of Wood.

You will be part of a team responsible for managing and administering client document control systems and responding to client registry enquiries.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Support the client registry services team in delivering day to day registry activities
  • Adhere to and comply with relevant Wood and Client processes and procedures in the support and execution of work activities
  • Administering the client document control systems including SharePoint, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Access databases and paper-based filing systems
  • Responding to client requests in a timley manner
  • Carrying out audits of client systems
  • Producing performance reports


Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • None

Minimum Experience:
  • 5 years in a document control / document registry administrative role

Job-Specific Skills:
  • Experience of Microsoft SharePoint administration activities
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Understanding of technical engineering termnology
  • Organised approach in planning and completing assigned activities
  • Diligent, dependable and consistent in the application of established processes
  • Professional demeanor with appropriate interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team working skills
  • Quality focused with attention to detail
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude and application of own initative to present recommndations to issues arising
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written

Requirements:
  • This role is based across multiple sites on Teesside therefore own transportation is essential
