Electrical Engineer

Salary: £37,000

Location: Rotherham

My client who has a site based in Rotherham is the UK's largest privately owned manufacturer of fitted furniture whose customers include residential housing developers, social housing providers, independent retailers and merchants.
As a company they offer a broad range of unrivalled brands to their customers and pride themselves on there cutting edge manufacturing capabilities, sustainability credentials and outstanding service to their customers.
They are now seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their busy and professional Engineering team on a permanent basis. As an Electrical Engineer your job will be to help deliver & provide a world class maintenance support to the site

THE ROLE:
In your job you will be responsible for
*Reacting quickly and efficiently to unplanned breakdowns
*Carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule
*Involvement in project work
*Carryout shift maintenance activity's maintaining machine availability within the business
*Carryout proactive work including PPM and improvement work
*Operate in line with all company H&S Standards
*Implement and adhere to safe working practices
Your working hours will be on a two week rotating shift pattern (week one) Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm (week two) Monday and Tuesday 6.00am to 4.00pm then Saturday and Sunday 6.00am to 4.00pm
In return for the above skills and experience you will be receive a salary of £37,000.00 also the chance to work for a modern and forward thinking company who values its staff and career progression within it.

THE CANDIDATE:
*Familiarity with Individual/team/departmental/Site KPIs and an ability to analyse data from various sources.
*A good organiser with a methodical approach to work
*Excellent inter-personal skills and a good communicator, both verbally and written
*An ambitious individual who wants to succeed and be developed in areas of modern maintenance practices.
*Open minded to change and willing to take on new ideas.
*Experience working in a front line maintenance role, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities.
*Time served engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent).
*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).

THE BENEFITS:
*Salary of £37,000
*Full Time hours, working a rolling 2 week shift pattern which will be:
Week one: 8.am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Week two: Monday and Tuesday 6.am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 6.am to 4.pm
*Pension scheme
