Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for Project / Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in South Yorkshire.

Reporting into the sites senior engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering a hands on engineering role focused on capex projects, operational improvements, tooling and NPI across the site. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious engineer wanting to grow and develop under excellent management and build their career within a role that provides autonomy and technical challenges.

The Project Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:

- Identifying, planning and implementing continuous improvement projects across all areas of the business
- Developing existing processes and support the introduction of new technologies in line with improvement targets
- Carrying out hands on engineering duties across machining and/or other special processes to deliver project solutions
- Ensuring NPI/Process improvement activities adhere to the appropriate quality and health and safety requirements
- Project Management, Implementation and OTIF delivery of all engineering projects within assigned value stream
- Injection Moulding tooling work, feasibility and process optimisation activities
- Championing continuous improvement initiatives whilst working closely with operations and engineering teams
- Become a leader within the development of robust production quality control and scrap reduction methodologies including Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control

We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

- Degree or relevant HND within an engineering field
- Project, Process and/or manufacturing engineering experience
- Understand of injection moulding component, tool and process design and an understanding of machining processes such as; Milling, Turning, Grinding, EDM & CNC (beneficial)
- Six Sigma/Lean knowledge beneficial
- Strong project management / CAPEX experience
- Experience supporting key projects of varying scales (including handling capex budgets etc.)
