Job description

The Client: Our Rotherham based client is a world leader in their field boast a solid 40+ year history.

Benefits:

£10.06 per hour
Saturday overtime paid at double time

Permanent contract
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
21 days holiday + stats

The role:

Work with Sales & Warehouse staff to ensure efficient, safe & accurate handling of stock and delivery of a high-quality service to all customers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertake receipt & checking of incoming goods, label correctly & locate in correct area.
To assist in picking & labelling of customers' orders
To assist in loading of all goods onto vehicles & provide a professional and courteous manner to all customers.
Using handheld scanners
To assist with stock takes as required.
To undertake daily FLT duties including daily checks
Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness & tidiness.
Ensure all stock is stored, handled & transported securely in line with company policy.
Deputise and provide cover for absent colleagues as required.
Other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

Skills required:

Good communication skills & customer focused.
Works well within a Team environment.
Physically Fit
Qualified & experienced FLT operator (Counterbalance) - preferred but not essential
PPT/Ride on experience - preferred but no essential

Personal Characteristics:

Conscientious, reliable with good attendance & timekeeping standards
Honest & trustworthy
Pragmatic approach to problem solving (without cutting corners)
