Care and Support Assistant
Jazz Court, Scarborough
£9.79
35 hours per week - working alternate weekends
We are seeking a Care and Support Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Set in the quiet community of Eastfield, near Scarborough, Jazz Court provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s.

The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:
Delivering a high level of personalised care and support
Supporting residents with personal care, such as washing, dressing and bathing
Administering medication
Assisting residents with shopping, cleaning and laundry tasks
Promoting a positive culture by engaging with residents to prevent social isolation
Ensuring that relevant support is provided to encourage our residents to maximise their own level of independence and become active members of their local community
Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
Building strong working relationships with residents, their families and staff
Skills and experiences:
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong "can-do" attitude
Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines
NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
