Senior EC&I Engineer

Primary Purpose of the role Provide professional engineering support to px operated sites in the UK, offshore and overseas. Maintain asset integrity and reliability, when appropriate team management, delivering customer requirements and statutory compliance. Support proposal development for new business, consultancy, due diligence, project and outage management. Major Duties Complete required responsibilities in the role of ‘Project Manager' for revenue, capital, improvement and change projects to meet customer, business and legislative requirements. Set and champion engineering standards and compliance with Codes and regulatory requirements across px sites. When required providing technical support and training to maintenance and operational staff; Solve engineering plant problems outside the capability of the site team. Develop and implement engineering procedures / practises, instructions, standards, guidance documents and improvements. Assist in providing functional design specifications on any new plant developments or projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Be active in plant safety schemes such as Near Hits or Incident Investigations, providing support where required and actively implement any recommendations arising from those schemes. When required complete Outage Manager responsibilities for planned or unscheduled shutdowns, to ensure all aspects of EC&I work are completed to programme, in a safe and efficient manner. Establish strong, effective relationships with all OMST Team members and customers - internal and external. Complete audits meeting all compliance requirements, communicating outcomes, supporting & driving actions. Be a central contact and information point for other departments on designated matters including technical support, mentoring and coaching as the business requires. Support the development of proposal and delivery for new business opportunities, including due diligence, consultancy and mobilisation. Manage any assigned reports in line with business requirements and needs. Present the role of Senior EC&I Engineer in a positive and professional manner. Maintain and develop personal competence remaining current with best practice, industry trends, legislation and role requirements.
