Job description

About The Role

We are looking for support workers to care for a young man in one of our homes at King Street, in Thorne, Doncaster. We'll call our young person Carl*.

We are looking for people who are a good match in terms of personalities and have similar interests to our young people.

Carl is a talented young man who has a creative flair, with an excellent memory. Carl enjoys spending time with his support workers reading and counting. Carl needs a quiet space to develop these skills so it is important that his support workers recognise this.

Carl also loves to be very active, going for walks in the community and exercising in the garden and at the gym. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to Carl, so we are looking for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle but also understands the importance of healthy and nutritious meals that they can prepare and enjoy with Carl.

Carl prides himself on his good manners and positive outlook and so requires support workers who are polite but also have an optimistic and upbeat personality.

If you enjoy helping others learn and develop and are looking to make a difference to someone's life, this could be the role for you!

*Carl is not his real name
