The brand is synonymous with quality; supplying prestigious landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, while also caring for the environment and communities in which it operates.We're growing our engineering team with a new position for an experienced Electrical Engineer at our Pollington manufacturing site.What's the mission?Your mission is to work with our team of Maintenance Engineers to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You'll work on various different types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic control systems.Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities. Previous experience in our industry isn't essential. We can teach you all things concrete!What are the mission-critical skills?A good electrical working knowledge is essential with some mechanical experience is desirableTime served/apprentice trained in a similar position ideally with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)A thorough understanding of the IEE 18th editionGood knowledge and understanding of PLC'sExcellent communication skills with a sound working knowledge of MS PackagesExperience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics and pneumatics will be an advantageInterested and want to find out more?Marshalls has invested heavily in its plant and operations equipment, with more investments planned for the future, giving you further opportunities to grow and develop your skills.
