Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client who are a leading manufacturer. Their product can be found in cupboards up and down the country and are stocked by any leading retailer. 2020 has already been a big year for them and it's getting even bigger, they are now entering their "peak" season and have an immediate requirement for a Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician to work permanent nights (4 on 4 off). The Person:
* A sound engineering mind - We need a problem solver, someone who can turn their hand to any task.
* Motivated - You'll be working permanent nights and will spend a lot of time working alone, you need to be motivated to get the task done.
* Apprentice Trained - We're looking for people who have served a 4 year apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3).
* Experienced in a fast paced manufacturing environment - Pretty self explanatory but, we need someone who has worked in a pressurised environment.
The Role:
* Working to a Planned preventative maintenance structure.
* Imputting data to the CMM system.
* Installation of new machinery.
* PLC Fault finding (Allen Bradley).
* Maintenance of; Conveyors, Packaging machinery, cooking vessels, metal detectors, spiral coolers and mixers.
* Assisting the project team when needed.
* Providing breakdown cover.
This role is a permanent night role, you will work a 4 on 4 off permanent night shift pattern. The salary for this position is £45,000 per annum.
