They have a vast portfolio of developments and have successfully delivered projects in excess of £400m+ which has allowed them to provide construction solutions to some of the world's most successful and enduring businesses.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role, it is essential that you are competent in the following;

Proficient in the use of IT software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in the use of Asta Power Project / Microsoft Project
Experienced in working as a Senior Planner on high value new build and refurbishment projects across education, healthcare, residential and MoJ sectorsIt is desired, but not essential, that you have;

Ideally a member of a Professional body CIOB / RIBA / RICS
CSCS CardThe Role

As a highly experienced Senior Planner you will be based in the regional office in West Yorkshire and will oversee a range of projects across healthcare, education, MoJ and residential sectors with build values up to £50m+. You will have responsibility for the preparation and updating of project programme for both bid and contract stages while minimising risk and maximising gross profit.

Duties

Conduct value engineering
Manage the process of designing solutions
Implement the required policies, procedures and standards
Lead the Planning co-ordination in line with Procurement and Construction
Carry out continuous research to keep the company at the forefront of technology
Communicate the projects expectations and performance measures to key stakeholders
Pricing of prelims as part of tender submissions and analysis of Labour Resource & Plant
Prepare proposals and site plans in conformance with codes and local and national regulations
Attending and presenting at proposal meetings, while assisting the Design Team and Commercial Team
Gather relevant statistical data and drafts reports on issues such as demographic information, occupancy rates, and land use assist with the mentoring and development of Trainee Planners, Graduate Planners, Assistant Planners and Planners if the need arises
Recognise contractual, financial, technical and operational risks within Programmes and logistics plans and to find opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit
