Samsung SDS is a logistics company that provides storage and transport for various (large) customers in the consumer electronics market. With several warehouses in the area of Breda and Tilburg. It is a growing company and therefor the new location in Born will open in March 2022. For this site we are looking for new staff! Venlo, Sittard-Geleen, Weert, Peel en Maas, Echt-Susteren.The warehouse of Samsung SDS is located on the Loven industrial estate in Tilburg. The team you manage as a coordinator is an international team. Therefore, the language of instruction is English. It is a close-knit team that works well together. The contact with the warehouse supervisor and warehouse manager is therefore very good and the lines are short.Functieomschrijving
Do you have experience in the field of logistic management? Are you good at working independantly and keeping an overview? Do you have a hands on mentality? Then the position of logistics coordinator or as we say in Dutch, Teamleider Logistiek, at Samsung SDS might be the right job for you! We are searching for 2 Coordinators on the departments Spare Parts and Finishing ;We are looking for a logistic coordinator for the new warehouse of Samsung SDS, which is located in Born and will open in March 2022. You will be the link between the supervisors and the employees on the floor. This means that you need to be good at communicating on different levels. Being able to approach people quickly and effectively is crucial for this position. Because Samsung SDS is an international organisation, the main language of communication is English, this should be no problem to ;Until the opening in March your main job will be to support and help by testing the (digital) ;The working hours are now between 7:00 and 19:00. As the warehouse still needs to open, there is a chance that these times will be extended.Here is a sketch of your daily responsibilities:
- Start meeting;
- Work division;
- Answer emails regarding transport planning;
- Controlls processes concerning the inbound and outbound in WMS;
- Weekly reports to the warehouse supervisor & warehouse manager ;
- Solving ad hoc problems in the workplace;
- jump in to help out on the workfloor whenever necessary (ept, stock control, reachtruck);
- Ensuring safety in the workplace - Shaping planning;
- Provide the employees, warehouse supervisor and warehouse manager with feedback.
You are a natural leader who enjoys leading a team. You are able to manage and solve conflicts. In addition, you can also keep an overview in large crowds. You can also continue to motivate the employees in a positive way. You have demonstrable experience in the logistics sector. Given the growth of the warehouse, managerial experience in logistics is very nice, but this is not a hard requirement. Besides that you naturally show a lot of initiative. - Salary of at least € per hour (21+);
- Travel allowance of € per km (max. 30 km one way, you get paid return trip);
- You save holiday hours on your gross salary, in addition you save holiday allowance on your gross salary;
- After 18:00 you will receive € per hour (30% extra surcharge if you work between 18:00 - 6:00);
- If you work more than 40 hours, these extra hours are considered overtime and you will receive € per hour for this overtime;
- From week 26 you will build up a basic pension;
