Biostatistician - Senior Research Consultant

Cytel is looking to recruit a Senior Research Consultant, responsible for assigned health economic consulting projects or project tasks, with a lead focus on biostatistics including survival analysis, evidence synthesis, comparative effectiveness, acting as the client's primary point of contact for engagements, developing mutually beneficial partnerships and taking ownership for the needs of the client.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Statistical Modelling in health economics: survival analysis, longitudinal modeling, etc.
* Evidence synthesis: guiding SLR development for meta-analysis, meta-regression etc.
* Developing and modelling in comparative effectiveness: indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), NMA, etc.
* Advanced comparative effectiveness: STC, MAIC, etc.

*OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Accountable for executing of assigned projects on time and with expected quality.
* Manage project team to ensure specified deliverables are developed and undergo appropriate review and sign off. As required, participate directly in development of the deliverables or other project activities.
* Create, identify, and leverage new business opportunities by identifying emerging customer needs and formulating appropriate solutions

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

*Education:* Master's degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Data Science, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or another relevant scientific field. PhD or MD preferred.

*Experience:*2-4 years of experience in the clinical trials or health research or consulting environment.

*Skills:*

* Understanding of the regulatory and reimbursement market in combination with business/consulting acumen.
* Experience in conducting and communicating complex health economic projects (i.e., modelling, evidence synthesis including systematic literature reviews and indirect treatment comparisons and/or dossiers) for clients.
* Strong technical-writing, oral communication and presentation skills, excellent use of the English language.
* Curious, collaborative, entrepreneurial and self-motivated, without the need for significant infrastructure and support, and with an understanding of the dynamics of high-growth companies; the ability to work effectively in a demanding, challenging, rapidly changing environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to gain respect of and influence internal and external clients.
* Demonstrated understanding of the customer decision-making processes and constraints.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to execute in client situations at the tactical level.
* Intermediate-to-advanced R user
