IT Asset Manager - Amsterdam/Remote - 6 months+

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an IT Asset Manager to join our global retailer client.

The IT Asset Manager will coordinate the entire pipeline of endpoints, from an operational perspective, making sure they are 100% in control of their assets during their life cycle.

The Team:

The team is responsible for Client Engineering, maintaining, and improving the Back End infrastructure of Endpoints, including Client Computers, Mobile Devices, Group Policies, Automation/Scripting, Application Deployment, Licensing, Asset Management, etc.

They also act as a 3rd level of escalation for our Tech Support (Service Desk) team.

Key responsibilities of the IT Asset Manager:

  • Responsible to control the IT Assets (endpoints and peripheral) life cycle, during all phases: Procurement, Receive, Deploy, Maintain, Retrieve and Dispose.
  • Be the primary point of contact for IT teams, coordinating and addressing requests for Assets.
  • Keep control of Asset status according to the life cycle phase in our ITAM Platform (ServiceNow).
  • Coordinate the ITAM external partner responsible to procure, store, image, and ship devices from their external Warehouse.
  • Forecast the needs of new assets from all stakeholders, including HR and Local IT Teams.
  • Procure new devices and track outstanding orders together with ITAM external partner.
  • Coordinate all aspects of Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Provide regular reports regarding Hardware and Software assets regarding their status, life cycle, costs, and budget allocation.

Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management
  • Previous experience working with ServiceNow in Asset Management
  • Experience in process design and process improvements using standard methodologies (eg: BPMN)
  • Strong experience in complex reporting
  • Familiarity with BI tools for reporting will be considered a plus (eg: PowerBI)
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong prioritisation skills

Details of the IT Asset Manager Role:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • 40 hours/week
  • Duration: 6months +
  • Location: Amsterdam area, Netherlands
  • Ideally 50% on-site, 50% WFH
