Role: Logistics ERP Super-User

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

As the Abcam business continues to grow across the globe, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Amsterdam and be instrumental in the launch and roll-out of our new ERP system, Oracle Fusion. The role will be based in Abcam's European distribution hub located next to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. From this location, Abcam works with a third-party Logistics company (3PL) to serve its European and Asian customer base. This is a fast-paced operation that sees a large number of finished goods received from our global manufacturing sites, and quickly shipped back out to customers, in a timely and accurate way. We also fulfil a crucial role in Abcam's supply chain, and transfer units to Abcam's other global Logistics sites.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who possesses strong interpersonal and technical skills who can plan, coordinate, and execute Logistics-based activities to support the implementation of an ERP launch. We require a detail-oriented fast learner who understands logistics processes in order to help guide our Netherlands Logistics team through the ERP change. In addition, you will be able to:

* Grow to understand the way in which Abcam's global Logistics operations work, including exposure to pre-go live processes in our current system and taking this knowledge forward into testing the new system
* Establish and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders including Abcam EMEA Logistics Managers, 3PL Account Managers and Operations teams, and Project SMEs, Managers, and Change Managers
* Plan, coordinate and execute the project's logistics activities with key stakeholders and in adherence with project timelines to ensure the operation is adequately equipped and ready for go-live
* Provide first-line support for the Netherlands Logistics team in their use of the new systems - resolving defects or bug and escalating issues to global teams as required
* Provide post go-live support for issues affecting business as usual and document change requests raised by the Netherlands team for improving system functionality
* In conjunction with the project team, create training documents and SOPs, and develop a training plan for the Netherlands Logistics team for a successful launch of the ERP system

About you:

You will have worked in a warehouse environment and may have some experience of dealing with laboratory manufactured product or laboratory experience. You will be a systems expert, having used an ERP such as Oracle (preferred), SAP or JDE extensively. Ideally, you will have been through an ERP implementation and been able to train others through the process. Your ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams and strong attention to detail will be key factors in your success in this role. With your effective communication skills and strong work ethic, you will influence the 3PL team to become smooth and efficient in using the new system.
